Hi, I'm trying to run Ergheiz off a disc using epsxe 1.6 with pete's open GL 2.9 and sapu's latest cdrom plugin (i think it's 2.4 but cant remember the exact number). The game loads up until after i select arcade mode and then freezes. If anyone has a suggestion I'd greatly appreciate it !

does the disc have any physical damage that you can see? have you tried making an image of the disc and running the game from that instead?

No, i thought about doing that but i was not sure what program i would need to perform that operation. :-\

follow one of the tutorials in the thread below and make an image of the disc. i prefer to use either clone cd, alcohol 120, or isobuster but the others listed in the thread will work fine as well.

Alcohol 52% is free provided you don't have windows 7 (it doesn't seem to want to work on it)

Ehrgeiz runs great on my PC. Just use alcohol 52% and click on make image, then choose data type as playstation and make the image in a .ccd/.img/.sub format.

works fine, just update SPTD to the latest.
