If the game works fine with the current plugin, then it should be okay to continue with it. Or you can submit a bug report at forums.pcsx2.net
Rule of Rose FMV Problem
Game plays FMV audio, but picture is black/empty. Someone told me to use the ZeroGS plugin, which plays the opening FMV fine, but all other FMVs afterwards play with a static, incomprehensible image.

I was hoping someone could confirm for me if this can or can't be fixed.
Have you tried using the software renderer and/or play with the advanced options?
Dunno if it still works, but you need to run this game in windowed mode (to prevent crashes) and hit F9 when you think a video plays.
This should switch the renderer to software so you can watch the fmv.

Software mode rules. I play in software mode throughout every game.
