I want some suggestions on which games to play. I really like rpg's and I now have enough spare time in hand to sit down and play one through Ive played FF7 like a million times though so anything but that. Also maybe suggestions on the graphical plugins and settings for the specific games would help too. thanks.

Suikoden 2 and Final Fantasy IX (my favorite game) are my recommendations. Here's the graphics setup I use for both, and even all of my games (but was made for Final Fantasy IX). If you have an LCD display though, it may not work all too well for you.

Oh, there's also Crono Cross, Final Fantasy IV, and Final Fantasy VI, but the SNES versions are better (no loading).

Legends of Dragoons is a great rpg with an interactive fight system. Final Fantasy-ish.

those are the ones I most like
(as a Chrono trigger fan, i think Chrono Cross sucks!, the story is horrible , it seems they were in a hurry for ending the game ..., don´t waste your time playing this)

How could I forget about Xenogears!? I did only give it one playthrough, and it wasn't a very consistent or focused one. I can't remember much about it, but I'd like to pick it up again at some point.

Also, I meant to say Chrono Trigger above, not Chrono Cross. I've never played that one.

Don't forget Final Fantasy IV and Terranigma for the SNES.
