Robo-Pit 2 music

I can't get the music to work in Robo-Pit 2, I've tried various sound plugins and configurations. Someone told me to make sure XA sound was enabled, and it is, but that's no help. All the sound works fine and the game plays fine, but there's just no music (except in FMVs), and I'm pretty sure the game has music :p

I've also tried an alternate CD-ROM plugin (Pete's CDR) but it was to no avail.

Suggestions?

Out of interest: you tried playing the CD in CD player to see if there are CDDA audio tracks on it?
