I can't get the music to work in Robo-Pit 2, I've tried various sound plugins and configurations. Someone told me to make sure XA sound was enabled, and it is, but that's no help. All the sound works fine and the game plays fine, but there's just no music (except in FMVs), and I'm pretty sure the game has music

I've also tried an alternate CD-ROM plugin (Pete's CDR) but it was to no avail.

Suggestions?

are the top 3 check boxes in sound config all checked? what sound plugin are you using?

They're checked. I've tried Eternal 1.41 (regular and lite), P.E.Op.S 1.9, Pete's 1.15 and ePSXe's SPU core.

I just tried running the game as an image instead of off the CD, no difference.

have you tried a different version of ePSXe? or perhaps PSXeven or PCSX?

Tried again with the original Robo-Pit (the game I really wanted) and no go. I guess I'll give another version/emu a shot.

Out of interest: you tried playing the CD in CD player to see if there are CDDA audio tracks on it?

I was going to but I found the solution already. I had to hook up the audio cable between my CD-ROM and my sound card, I must have forgot to do it when I put the system together.

Now I wonder how to get the tracks to rip with the image.
