is there anyway to set a diferent resolution for litestep and other for explorer?
in the momet uim using shellON to manage both of them...

Afaik, Litestep depends on what the skin/theme designer wanted them to be displayed.

Some themes take the liberty to be displayed at any screen res. But someothers only available for certain Resolution.

thats not what i meant...
im running LS on a 486 (win 95) and B4 LS i had the res at 640*480. Im running Shellon as my default shell so i can choose wheter i want explorer or litestep on boot. my question, is there any way to make LS boot at 800*600 and explorer at 640*480

Sorry you can't. As far as I recall to do something like that requires the use of directX and shellon currently doesn't use this.
