Residewnt Evil 2 Sound problem

i can't hear the dialogue, when someone starts talking in the game, the only thing i hear is the first one or two letters, and then the voice is interrupted.
Everything else works ok (music, videos...).

Well what sound plugin/settings are you using?

Plugin: ePSXe SPU core 1.5.2
enabled cdda
enabled XA sound (this is needed to play sound during the videos)

I tried plenty of plugins with same effect.
Some of them are: Iori Direct sound driver 1.4; Pete's Dsound driver 1.15 ...

Any ideas?

Sorry, I got worse results. Now all the sound on the game is messed up

You need the top 3 checkboxes, not the fourth, enabled. Set the buffer to 22 and turn off all the game fixes.
