The voices are all choppy and the game is too fast or slow sometimes... What can I do?
Im on a PIII 450, Diamond Viper 550 AGP and SB Live! Value.
Im using Pete's OpenGL Driver 1.47, ePSXe SPU core 1.2.0. and ePSXe CDR ASPI core 1.0.1.

Any ideas?

Wait. The sound issue is known about (Its really hard to get perfect I believe).

Oh BTW RE2 pal for some bizzare reason has always ran perfectly (ie no sound glitches etc) on bleem 1.4 .... ONLY Bleem 1.4. If like me in "the good old days" you bought a key cd you can get it from the emulators section.

Ahh, ok well it works best with VGS, but I kinda wanted the better graphics of ePSXe.

AHA I figured out howto fix Resident Evil 2

After several hours of putzing around with the settings to fix the voice problems, I found that with my Plextor drive I had to check off both "Accurate CD-R Timing" and "Disable CD-ROM status". I am using the built-in cdrom driver, not Pete's plugin. It allows voices to be played with any sound driver. I had to force NTSC mode and then limit the FPS in Pete's OpenGL plugin to 60fps. Now everything is beautiful. Whew that took forever to figure out.
