I want a Nintendo 64 emulator to play Perfect Dark. Which would be my best choice?

My specs are.....
-AMD64 2.4gh
-2 gig Ram
-Radeon X850XT Vid Card

Which Emulator would be my best choice and where can I find Perfect Dark and all the plugins I need?

What do you mean? I need the actual cartridge?
hm, what did you think you were going to emulate? [rules]Ngemu has a no-tolerance stance against piracy[/rules]. downloading games is illegal and thus, unsupported :nono:

it can easily fit into your cd-rom drive. You might have to force it down a little and to be scared of breaking anything, it will work. It also can fit in the floppy drive, it just might be a little slower loading.

Hurray for sarcasm. Seriously, with the PSX emulator, I just put in my disc. A Nintendo 64 game is a cartridge. Am I missing something here?

the cheapest way is to get an older N64 gameshark (NOT the newer ones). you can find plenty of help through PJ64's website, among others.

Ok, but when I run PD on my pc, will it be faster then running on 64?

the only advantages are the high resolution (and AA/AF and such) to make it prettier. and you'll suffer from worse controls, unless you have a USB N64 adapter.

It's dump :)

Technically speaking, it would come down to downloading exactly the same data, however, you are allowed to make a backup only of your own game, not someone else's. So that's the problem, and also the reason why the "I've downloaded the image, but I own the original cartridge" doesn't count as a valid reason here. It will still be treated as piracy.
