A couple of years ago I stumbled upon a description of one interesting function belonging to some emulator.
According to the description, it was possible to download a certain input record file, load a game and load the downloaded record input file in the emulator so that it can reproduce the recorded input (joystick, keyboard – you mean it) sequence. In theory, this would allow to easily record and share your gameplay in a very small file.
I have no idea how this function is called exactly.
My questions would be:
1) are there still any emulators supporting this function?
2) is there at least a remote possibily of implementing something similar to advanced emulators like ePSXe?
