I play FF8 with the disks, and now I got as far as getting onto the train going to Galbadian Garden (after the Seifer incident at the TV station). While on the train , I chose to ignore Zell to proceed to the next part, and this pops up:

Anyone knows if this has to do with the emulator or the disk, and how can I fix it ?

its either a disk read error
faulty memory.

or an antivirus which scans processes in memory.
