To start things off:

Treyarch's Call of Duty: Black Ops will be playable in stereoscopic 3D when it launches worldwide on November 9.

Publisher Activision said that the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC versions of the shooter will be compatible with 3D-ready HDTVs and 3D PCs utilising active shutter 3D glasses.

Treyarch studio head Mark Lamia said: "Development of stereoscopic 3D began as an R&D project, but once we saw what the technology brought to the Call of Duty experience, what a great fit and how immersive it was, we knew that we had to develop it for Black Ops.

"Aiming down the sights of your weapons, flying in helicopters, rappelling down mountains, and moving through highly detailed environments are just some of the awesome experiences you will have in 3D with Black Ops."

He added: "We made sure the experience is seamless for gamers to use with a simple menu option to enable stereoscopic 3D or disable it at any time whether playing in the single player campaign, multiplayer or Zombies."

Black Ops multiplayer was looking more ambitious than we imagined when we went hands-on last month.

Aaah, playing Need for Speed Underground 2 again in my rest time at the office. Reminds me of those college days where procrastination was a very close and sweet friend of mine.

I never got that far, i got to chapter 3 and quit i think, because story is important for my immersion. The combat is pretty fun and challenging. i'd give it a 5/10

Why everyone mainly talked about Crysis and Metro when it comes to graphics, i'm currently playing Lost Planet Colonies and its stunning :drool: imho it deserves to be mentioned as well.

Dude, the only time I see the words "Crysis" and "graphics" in the same sentence is when it's along the lines of "Crysis is an unoptimized POS!". Very few people actually praise Crysis graphics. And AFAIK the same goes with Metro 2033, everybody's just complaining about how it runs like crap, though I can't say whether or not these rants are justified since I haven't tried Metro.

Crysis does not run like crap and it is not unoptimized, thank you.

Metro on the other hand does run like crap, and has nothing to show for it.

What determines how much magic is drawn from enemies each time in FFVIII?

Just wondering... 'cause I'm at the Dollet Communications Tower now, stocking up on t2 magic. Selphie, the magic user, stocks up on magic way faster than Zell and Squall.

I was just fighting the "elite soldier" (the red one), grabbing Blizzara and Thundara from him. All 3 characters started at 0 magic, when Selphie had 100 of each, the others had like 100 total.
This leads me to believe the magic stat has a direct influence on how much magic is being drawn.
True/false?

When i played ff8, i had to use PEC for inf. magic, because drawing magic makes the battles even worse than they already are, so i just eliminated that mechanic from the game.

That sounds about right. You can increase the effectivity of drawing by rearranging spells to the other characters.
Ah, good old encounter exploiting. I remember prolonging a boss-fight endlessly just to draw my fill of Aura spells.
Also remember to ALWAYS draw from bosses. Some of them have GFs you can draw from them. The first one in Dollet, actually.

Not only the first one you also draw the most powerful summon in the game as well. By the my advice is to have your GF learn the abilities to turn items/cards etc then use that for simple ways to gather magic, after that its pretty much in the bag.
