I have a bunch of old ps2 games I wouldn't mind replaying since I don't have a ps2 anymore, but I've heard different things regarding whether or not its best to run the game in a CD or image file.

If running the game as an image file is more efficient, how do I go along making one from one of my CDs? To be more specific, which programs work best to create such a file?

If there's an existing thread that has already dealt with this problem, I apologize and would appreciate it if I was re-directed to that thread.

Its definitely better to play the game with the image file rather than play it directly from the disc. Just google some iso ripping software on google and im sure theres a bunch that get the job done.
