Basically, there are some games that don't work well on pSX, but do on EPSXE. I recommend that you keep EPSXE around, but having pSX Emulator as your primary emulator is not an all bad idea.
As long as you don't mind the non-enhanced graphics, feel free to use pSX as your primary PSX emulator. Its MY primary one.
pSX DOES play some games in a better way than EPSXE (and the real console) by removing some slowdowns and framerate issues that DO happen on the real console. Its not accurate, but in this case, its a good thing.
