so ive been playing legend of the dragoon, im on disk two and i have to insert disk one to go back to a place but when i go to file and click eject disk and insert disk1.iso it just says please wait and freezes

I've just had this exact problem with psx 1.13 - I get an error message and it freezes on the please wait screen. What do I do?? Is it just because the program isn't compatible? I also had some issues in battles where I used a dragoon and the game would stop working, so I think it could be that the emulator doesn't like the game. Someone please help!
