PSTwo & saves

I have a pstwo and basically want to transfer saves from the ps2 or ps1 memory card onto the pc. the X-Port and Sharkport only support earlier models, how else could I achieve this?

Would the 'backed up' ps2/ps1 save files created by this:
http://www.lik-sang.com/info.php?category=25&products_id=202

be compatible in ePSXe? or could they be converted?

if you want to do PSX saves you can get a DexDrive.
