K, I have a quick question. I recently got a busted psp and was thinking of replacing the lcd. It's a psp 2000. I was wondering if a psp 3000 lcd would work on the 2000. Sorry if I sound like an idiot, I'm a noob at psp stuff.

Really the only screen replacement you can use is one for a PSP-2000. A screen from a PSP-1000 ,for instance, will work but the inverter in the PSP-2000 won't provide enough power to properly drive the display, resulting in a darker than normal backlight and incorrect colors.

It might be better to try to find a fully working used model as opposed to trying to replace the screen... unless you can find a screen on ebay or some online e-tailer or maybe even find another PSP-2000 that was bricked but has a good screen.
