Before you get all giddy and worked up, you should be warned that the trick requires two memory sticks, some reflexes, and does NOT work with 1.51 or 1.52 units. Other than that -- have fun.

anyway... it's known trick for many days now - retarded news ;)
What the hell do you mean? I posted this on Wednesday the Fifteenth -- same day as the hack was released. People have known "of" it, but it was only released now. And if you think that being able to run homebrewed apps on a PSP is retarded news -- well, this news post isn't very well directed towards you.

It says there is a chance of it ruining your mem card, why is that? Flash memory cards dont have moveing parts, so could you not just reformat it? Or is that what you would have to do and your risking your data?

Maybe it's like the data in the ps2's memory card. When it gets corrupted you can't get back the space the corrupted data was using.
The data in the memory stick can't be corrupted since it will happen if you take it out when it's reading data but the program stops reading so you can change cards and then it continue as it's specified by some user in that page.
