This is a thread for every gamer that has ever played phantasy star online for any system. Let me know the memories that the game gave you and if possible post pics of your character!! Together, lets think back to the world of PSO. As for me, I have already been through both episodes on my gamecube (offline) and an achievement of a level 157 Hucast(which is my absolute favorite character!) But I was always thinking of how fun it was to play through the game so I started a new game just to think back (PICS below.) So, If you have any memories or pics, feel free to post em!! :thumb:

And Yeah, that is a level 2 Hucast you are looking at (I said I was starting over didn't I :eyemove: ) but don't worry, he won't be level 2 forever :thumb:

Ahh PSO.. so many memories dating back to around 2000, when I got it for the Dreamcast.. so many sleepless nights leveling up, acquiring rare items, and meeting new friends..

How time flies. I really miss those days, good times indeed. This makes me want to install PSO PC and play like I did those fateful nights on the DC..

Well, I went ahead and did it.. LV 1 Humar..

Looking forward to new memories with this character.. anyone who wants to play say so in this thread. And.. no stupid hacks or cheats, I'm looking for all legit players.. Hunting rare items the old fashoned way.

Oh yeah.. tons of servers and tons of people. Very active even since Sega shut down the servers and people had to resort to making their own.. not gonna die any time soon, at least until BB becomes "free".

If I had the time I would definately try to get my DC online trough my pc, I failed at previous attempts, but I still haven't given up trying

I think my own pc is too slow for PSO Does anyone know what the minimum specs are to run it decently? (that means lowest graphic quality and don't even start about AA )

I was bored and played for a few minutes tonight. I forgot what level I was. I took a few months off. I'm amzed at how many hacked players there are. It's really annoying. Hours of work seem like waste compared to them now..*sigh*

Are those hackers a problem when playing legit? Beside them ruining the fun of the game how it was meant to be.

I have two mags, I'm working on. This one I was just fooling around with. I was having problems reconiguring my graphics in game. I'll fix that after work tonight.

As for the hacker problem. It takes away due to the fact you'll have players come in and clear out entire rooms or beat a boss before you even get a swing in. This defeats the whole point of playing. They normaly grief items, as well as speak in the "l33t" talk.

I try and stick to rooms that say "Legits Only" or "No Hacked Items". There's way of making it so you can play legit only. I belieave it's /legit in the game. It's suppose to stop the use of all hacked items, but I don't think it's fully functioning.

But when you're with a four person team, there is no way someone from outside can disturb that game?

Yeah, you can password protect rooms.. we could have a universal pass for all NGEmu players..

I miss playing PSO... I still have my DC game but since sega shut down their servers I havnt played it since.
