As of late, there've been several images of the latest PSinex cruising the web, all being posted at our affliate site PSXfanatics.com. Of course we here @ NGEmu don't want to stand behind here, so I contacted Psychojak and got ahold of the latest beta version of this promising emulator. But why write stuff twice, here's a snipset from the editorial I wrote about it :
During the past weeks, several people mailed me asking if the PSX scene has slowed down as of late. Well guys, see it like that : Nice temperatures, hot girls, friends, sun, fun ... or sitting inside and programming ? I think you get the point, everyone has enjoyed this nice summer - but as you saw in our latest PSX status update, development now continues !

As a great example should be named PSinex, of which I recently recived a beta to make myself a first impression (thanks a lot Psycho!). And after getting it configured, my first impression was really "Woah!". Although some parts are still missing (like the possibiltiy to change buttons in that nice config screen which you see to your left handed site), the beta already shows something easily : On faster PC's, PSinex already gets damn close to the more popular emus, and also supplies the user with a very friendly and quick GUI.
Got interrested ? Fine :) I suggest you to check out the whole article here. Big congrat goes to the programmers Psychojak and shunt (which just recently finished the accurate cd-rom timing decoder, which is responsible for GT1 & 2 running !). Feel free to leave comments in the article section or at our message board !
