PS2 to PC adapter Question

I bought a ps2 to usb adapter. It works perfectly. It lets me connect 2 ps2 controllers and play my emulated games. My question is... Can I have two of these adapters plugged in at once to have four players? Will my computer recognize all 4 controllers as seperate? It isn't an expensive decision in the end, as these adapters are all of 5 bucks, but 5 dollars saved is 5 dollars earned as they say. So does anyone have any experience plugging in two of these adapters? Thanks.
