hi,
you people might have checked out the new version of project64(a n64 emulator).i tried it but could not run it.when i try to run a game emulator just gives a black screen and helds there.i have a voodoo banshee,667 celeron,64 mb ram,win 98 se.any idea what is the proablem.i tried old drivers for my video card,the emulator was running but with very odd graphics.when i installed new drivers,the above error is occuring.

I would tell you something
If you read "read me"..............
They said bad video card for their emu is Matrox G200 ,G400 Banshee,etc..............and your video card is in the list..............
Sure I can't run same as you.........but I can run Mario64 but with flaws

Hmm, tbh i haven't noticed any speed difference but to my knowledge the 1.1 release was a quick release meant to mostly fix bugs.

Maybe they forgot to enable compile optimisations when they compiled version 1.1 in Viz C++ :D
