Hi everyone,

I just installed windows 7 RC x64, and when I try and start dolphin, i get the error: Error loading Plugins/Plugin_PadSimple.dll: cant read info. I had this problem in an older version of windows, but easily got rid of it by copying over older plugins, but that doesn't seem to work now. I've searched the forums, but none of the topics seem to have a solution.

Any help with this would be appreciated.

try to update your directX:

DirectX WebInstaller

I Have the same problem as you Souperman 11. But in older version Dolphin worked great.
I hope this is with unupdated DirectX... I will install update tonight and i will report to you if it works or not.

It worked! Thank you for your help. You'd think microsoft would include DirectX updates with a new beta release....

it does contain the latest, however the files missing are managed directX files which aren't included as they are updated often.
