I have tried every emulator except dolwin, I believe. But from what i'm hearing the speed isn't good on there either. Most didn't work. The only ones that worked were supergcube, and dolphin, supergcube is slow and has a glare in it. And dolphin is also slow for me. I have windows 7, i'm using dolphin 7283, I'm aware that I most likely need directx, but my computer does not allow me to install most things, what i'm wondering is, since dophin is obviously the best emulator, is there anyway to get good enough speed without installing directx? my speed ranges from like 15% to 30% Also I have tried what dolphin's site said to increase performance, and it hardly did anything.

Dolwin is EXTREMELY outdated and nowhere near as compatible/featured as Dolphin is.

So...your saying i'm out of luck cause Dolwin is the only one I haven't tried? I also just tried Dolwin out and it didn't even start, Whatr I was aiming for is a way I can speed up dolphin without installing directx or something? As long as the speed is decent, and the graphics are ok, It dosn't matter what i'm using. So far no emulator has done so with me.

You might want to list your system specs because this game can be played fullspeed in Dolphin provided your PC is fast enough (at least for the bits I tried).

If your specs seem alright then you'll be wanting to optimise your configuration settings for performance.

Paper Mario TTYD should be really fast with Dolphin, it's one of the least demanding games. What are your system specifications by the way? Post your configuration as well, you might not have the emulator configured for best performance.
