hi all
when i emulate ff9,
and i save the state during an mdec video,
the next time i load the states the sound disapppear.
This problem is for all sound plugin exe, excepted the core plugin.
The problem disappear if i don't save during a video.
Is there an easy way to fix that ?

Something simmilar happens to me when I play FFT useing PEOpS Dsound audio driver; I save the sate, but when I load the state I get alot of static.

Save states are imprefect. It's really not recommended to use them all the time, instead using the memcard saves

Kane...a quick question. How does the savestate function? Create a snapshot and that's all? I kept thinking how it works and why does this occur...

I think they save the contents of the emulated memory but I'm not sure.

I can't tell you why it messes up, but basicaly from what i understand, the savestate containds a snapshot of all the playstation's memory.
