I'm about an hour or so into the game and its played fine up until now.
I'm at the part where I used the spirit stone to open the cave in the sult ruins. I go in, touch some ball of light and get teleported to some kind of place floating above the earth in space and this lady is talking to me about the spirit stone. As shes talking it starts fading out like its going to a cutscene or something but it just freezes and loops the first couple of words she started to say over and over.

any help?

could be related to using save-states or a damaged disc/bad image. unless you are already doing so, try loading from a memory card save. the other thing to do is make sure your disc is as clean as possible, and if you are playing off an image instead of that, try re-ripping it.

btw can you post your system specs and plugin setup in case they are needed later on?
