I have a problem with ff9. The game starts to run, but as soon as I click on "New Game", I get a black screen. IT's doing it with both version 1.6.0 and version 1.5.2.
On version 1.5.2, it's written down error reading CD : 63,39,5
Is it a problem with my cd rom config or a scratch on my cd??

If it was a problem with the CD-Rom configuration, I don't even think it would get that far. It sounds like you have the PAL version. If so, you'll need to patch it before you can play.

I have just tried to load a slot later in the game and it worked. However, all the slots I have found up to now are the on the CD 2 and higher. I would like if somebody could send me a slot saved at the first saved point of the first CD

Either way, we need to know if you have the PAL or NTSC version.

try making an ISO. or use a different CD plugin, try Sapu's or Xeven's

I'd make an ISO anyway though. Well, here's the save if you still need it.
