Problem with ff8
Sometimes (scarcely) when I'm playing ff8 the games freezes, so I can not continue and I must reset epsxe. I'm using epsxe 1.6.0

ah yes a laptop. your computer is probably overheating. ePSXe is pretty intensive...and it will probably make your computer overheat and thus freeze.
when you are emulating, make sure your power save functions are off and that you are playing on a well ventilated surface (liek a table..NOT your lap..). better yet, plug it in and leave it on a table.

Considering the laptop's running a Thunderbird, I wouldn't be surprised at all if it was overheating

delete ePSXe 1.6.0 (back up whatever you need to transfer over first, specifically memcards, plugins, and save states)
step 2:
download and install ePSXe 1.5.2
step 3:
copy in all your backed plugins, memcards, and savestates
do those 3 steps before asking. i learned my lesson the first time

btw, ePSXe 1.6.0 does have its merits, it fixed a lot of games...it just broke some other games too :|
