Hello,

i have some problems with my epsxe emulator installation.

i have following plugins:

Sound: libspuPeopsOSS.so.1.0.9
Graphics: libgpuPeteXGL2.so.2.0.6

everytime i start a game, i get following text in the console:

* Init gpu[0][libgpuPeteXGL2.so.2.0.6]
ATI Technologies Inc.
MOBILITY RADEON 9700 Generic
* Open gpu[0]

there is no error, but the game doesn't start, i get only a black screen.

i don't get it, so please could anybody help me with this problem? :hdbash:

Use another CDR plugin.

thank you for your answer! i now tryed the CDR-Plugin "CDRMoby-2.8" for Linux but i get this error in the console:

[email protected]:~/epsxe$ ./epsxe
* Running ePSXe emulator version 1.6.0.
plugins/libcdrmooby-2.8.so: undefined symbol: [email protected]:~/epsxe$

then ePSXe crash.

Somebody has another idea, please?

Whoops.
Try running it DIRECTLY form the cd-rom drive using the P.E.Op.S CDR plugin.

CDR moby is for booting psx image. fireblaster was right you should use Peops cdr.
For me, its the best plugin for cdr.

thank you both for your reply.

but there's one problem. the P.E.Op.S CDR plugin 1.4 ISN't for Linux, it's only good for windows (dll-file). the only CDR plugin i could find was this CDR Moby.

now what should i do?

Sorry, I rarely try ePSXe on Linux.
So, try mastering your PSX CD (create an image) and mount it onto Mooby and try running it.

(Hey, I thought there was a CDR plugin for Linux's ePSXe?)
