i was wondering if there's a way to make the ePSXe emulator to read the ps game from my brother's pc cd-rom device by network.
something like this: "\\<my brother's pc name>\d" instead of "d:\"

you could map it to a letter, and then set that letter up as the cd drive. I'm not sure if this would work though, I can't test it.

I'm curious as to why you would want to read off another PC.

Well you might actually find that 4x runs the games BETTER than a 52x. This is because a real psx has a 2x drive and a 4x is a closer match than a 52x. Pete's cd plugin has a slowdown option for this very reason.

Yup,4x is better for PSX emulation if you don't want any trouble,but the best solution is to make an ISO in order to play from the Hard Disk,much faster and not any errors .

but ISO takes many space about more than 100mb and even can more than 700mb

Yes, if he had the iso on his hard drive, you'd be able to play it from over the network.

It'd be better to put it on your own HD. And yes I use Pete's CDplugin1.6 to slow my 32x drive to 2x.
