hey everyone. well i tryd the emulator and in fact read the PCSX2 Configuration Guide so everything would work fine. well when i try to play a game (( yes from the cd not downloaded or anything illegal)) and asked me for the cd/dvd image i click on the image on the disk and it says its not valid or what not. i used the other plug-ins and none of them work (( yeah i used the ones in the guide and no work)) so i was wondering how come it keeps saying that and how do i fix it? yeah some of the times it makes the emulator freeze and some of the time it just goes to the screen it plays on and does nothing at all. well of coures im useing the updated version of it. if it helps in anyways here is my specs:

Windows XP Professional Service Pack 2 (build 2600)

what program did you use to make the image? there maybe 2 files: a *.cue and *.bin. pick the cue file cuz its like the header for the main image file which is the bin image. thats why you get a message which says the image is not valid. you must use the header file to use the main image file. anyways i would suggest that you use daemon tools to dump the image and then run the game from the Daemon's virtual drive using peops cdvd plugin
