Problem with Alone in the Dark 4

I'm having some trouble with Alone In The Dark 4, well, in every room that's got a mirror, anything that's not pre-rendered only appears at the area of the mirror. In the rest of the room, nothing shows... enemies, characters, items, nothing. If someone can help me, please. Thanks in advance. Here are my config and specs:

try using OpenGL 1.76
well, i tried using OGL 1.76, and that problem was solved, but another appeared. everytime i get any text messages, the screen goes black, or flickers. all of my other games run perfectly with OGL2 plugin, but this one gets me some trouble. if anyone can help me, please, thanks in advance!
usual settings to opengl plugin:

offscreen drawing: 3
framebuffer textures: 0
framebuffer access: 4

does that help?
well, i have put everything at maximum and it has improved a bit, but some parts still flicker. i'll try that now...

EDIT: The settings that give the best results are:

OD: 4
FT: 3
FA: 4

But there's still a bit of flickering.
hey, isn't there any way to make this game run with OGL2? if anyone knows help me please. thanks in advance.

how is the "nice" preset working out for ya?
hushypushy, the character movements get kinda strange, and the mirror thing still happens. and yes, i played resident evil, it got mirrors, and the same thing doesn't happen. the best way i found to run AITD4 is with OGL1, with OD 4, FT 3 and FA 4, but when there's any close up shot of something, like for example the statue in the lobby with the letters MK behind it, when I check the statue out and the text appears, the image blinks in black. it doesn't hurt that much but it's annoying. and it's also annoying having to change to OGL1 everytime i wanna play AITD.
hmm, try increasing offscreen drawing? play around with the Compatibility options in OGL2.
