My first "project" so to speak, is to re-organize my hard-drives, partitions and folders.
I bought a 320 GB Sata today, for intended use as an OS-drive alongside my current 500GB And 640GB ones.

My first idea were something like this (space amounts is imprecise and rounded upwards, allocation/header not taking into account:

---------------------------------------------------------------

1. New SATA 320 GB:

---------> 30 GB - Windows XP-SP3

---------> 50 GB - Windows 7 64-Bit

---------> 40 GB - Arch Linux 64-Bit

---------> 200 GB - Storage 01:
--------------> !Music
--------------> !Pictures
--------------> !Coding

2. SATA 500 GB:

---------> 10 GB - WinTemp, Swap & Drivers

---------> 490 GB - Storage 02:
--------------> !Games
--------------> !Emulation

3. Sata 640 GB:

---------> 640 GB - Storage 03
--------------> !CD_Images
--------------> !Movies

---------------------------------------------------------------

But then i found out that my gtx-260 covers the other two SATA-ports on my microATX motherboard :mad:, so i will, in lack of conceivable usage of the 320GB drive, have to come up with a new plan using just my two drives somehow.

Another thing i am trying to figure out, is how to have an IDE drive added to the mix, without it taking the place of Disk 0 (or SDA in linux) and pushing my former first SATA-drive to Disk 1 (SDB). It isn't all that much of a bother, but i just feel it is more "tidy" to have my SATA drives listed first and ide drives coming after.
If there is some way.

get a right angled sata connector, it'll sit just nicely under the card.
