1.Download a PPF Patch and place it in a "New folder".
2.Download PPF-O-Matic v3.0, Extract it and open "ppf-o-matic3"

You will get this.

3.Find your ISO File.
4.Then find the PPF file you want to use in the "New folder".(If your game use multi-disks select the right ppf patch, E.g disk 1 to 4)

You will get something like this.

Then Press apply.

You've successfully Patched your ISO, press ok and exit. Then load the game on a emulator.:thumb:

Btw. If you think something needs adding or changing just say.

Interesting. Why do this instead of, say, ripping subchannel data?

(yes I know that not all drives support subchannel reading, and thus this makes sense)

So basically that's it, only if your drive doesn't support subchannel reads? How many of those are still around? oO

(good guide btw, even if it does have limited use)

Theres no reason to do this if using epsxe, just copy the ppf patch into the patches folder and rename the files to the same as the disk id.

so for ff8 PAL the patches are renamed to

SLES_020.80
SLES_120.80
SLES_220.80
SLES_320.80

So how do I get this disk id for my Brigandine GE? I'm a bit confused. I tried to rename the ppf file to "Brigandine GE cd1.ppf" for that matter. And it won't work. Thanks.

the ppf extension is not required in the patches folder.
