Pokemon Transparent 2D Textures

So, I've tried all the other DS emulators around, and they all seem to either be too slow, or lack/have crappy audio.

No$GBA with No$Zoomer seems to work the best/fastest of all the choices. My only problem (or slight annoyance, really) is these weird transparent textures in Pokemon games during battles. Where it should be transparent, it's replaced with black. I would think someone would've stumbled upon a fix for it, since other emulators don't seem to have the problem.

Did you try some EX options on No$zoomer? If the problem persists, that's just the way it is for now. Other emulators need strong computer to play normally or on decent speed.

I don't think you quite get what I mean by transparency replaced by black. Here's some pictures of what I mean.

All those.. exploding and energy effects get darker as opposed to being transparent.

LOL Sorry mate. No$zoomer fixes some graphical glitch with its EX options (assuming you use no$gba 2.6a and no$zoomer 2.3.0.2), so I thought maybe you can use it to get rid of the transparency problem (never played pokemon before). Or you can change the renderer to opengl instead of nocash. If that's not the case, then no$gba isn't able to render it quite like the real NDS graphic right now, and there is no fix for that atm.
Yep, no fix I am afraid.

Actually,

I noticed I only had No$Zoomer v2.3.0.1, so I looked through the NoZoomer thread looking for the latest version you were talking about.

Found the japanese version, then found the english translate file. Then checked through all the EX's. EX1 actually does fix it, but causes some other minor problems.

Notice how in the second picture, the lower screen sprites are transparent for some reason. But whatever, it's better than having the ugly black transparency. :D

Flaws:
-Transparent battle icons
-Messed up TV intro transparency
-Evolution animation still has the weird black transparency

That's hardly a fix, more a compromise, that's why I said nothing, anyways glad you're happy with it.
