Hey, i've been using DeSmuME to play Pokemon Platinum but i'm having some FPS problems... I was wondering if anyone could covert my game save to a save compatible with No$GBA as it seems to run a bit faster for me.

Same save in DST and SAV format:

just drop the .sav into Nogba\batteries\ and it'll work from the go.

Didn't work, it just started a new game and on close, overwrited my save with a blank 512KB save.

Does this need to be changed at all? (NO$GBA.INI)

This is rather odd. Did you set the correct save type for the game before trying to load your save in no$gba?

no, but you do need to change the save type to 512(Flash 4mb) in the nogba settings.

The save type in DeSmuME is set to EEPROM 512Kbit and the No$GBA save type is set to EEPROM 64KBytes. Is this correct?

Ok I tried what you said and ended up with: The save file has been erased due to corruption or damage.

EDIT: I have overwritten http://sourceachievements.com/Pokemon Platinum.sav with the 512KB save, could someone possibly try that with their No$GBA and if it works, write a snapshot or something that I could load. Sorry for the trouble guys...

Perhaps the file is already corrupted to begin with, since you said that you set the save type in DeSmuME to EEPROM 512Kbit, which is the wrong save type. The correct save type should be "Flash 4mbit."
