Okay, I'm new here so... yah.

I have Visualboy Advance version 1.7.2, and I've followed all the link instructions to the point I have gotten stuck, and there seems to be no one online who has answered this problem. I'm trying to trade pokemon between Ruby and Emerald, and everything is fine until I get to the "Please wait... Press B to cancel..." dialog box, and it never goes any farther.
The first window (Emerald) continues to run (though it's waiting forever) and I can press B, save, and run off. But the second window (Ruby) Freezes almost completely and I can only save and escape through the window.

Is this something that's easily fixed or will I have to download 1.7.3?

Dang, chill.

Why do think I posted? I already looked. You don't have to be a huge jerk about it :|

Anyway, I've already solved the problem by now, (no thanks to anyone HERE) I had to change the priority of the slower running window to a higher setting and the faster one to the lowest setting, and selecting Synchronize in Emulator=>.
I did get some good ideas from the things I searched though : D

I at least thank you for the time :(

it works with both set to a higher priority as well.... though thats as long as you stick to using 1.72 (1.8 is a cpu hog)

;) set frameskipping to auto, it'll help with the compensation.

I was able to run 2 windows at 100% with my Athlon 2000
