After a little searching I didn't find a similar thread, although I suppose this is or was a common issue, so if it's repeaed, sorry...

Anyway, I have tried both of these games, and everything goes well except for one thing: when I want to save the game, I go to the menu, save and apparently it does save the game, but the .sav file is never created in the "battery" folder! So next time I opened the emulator I saw all my progress lost (all my already captured pokemon were average lvl 20). Tried to change the backup media to EEPROM, FLASH, all is the same.

Please help. Maybe I'm missing some small but important details... Thanks.

Pokémon savetype is Flash512k, which must be active both when you save and reload the game. Also note that changes in savetype only become active once you restart the game.
