wut files do i dload at the site besides the pcsx 0.8, do i dload all da plugins or are r there just some? can u teach meh to config to? plz and ty

in the 0.7 version of PCSX2, u had to download drivers like CDVD (peops), sound (peops) and GSDx9.. these were the most used ones..

but now in 0.8, most of that plugins came in tha package, so u dont need to download them.. the only one missing is the sound plugin, but even with PEOpS Sound plugin I couldn't listen to anything.. but u can try anyway..

maybe its because you downloaded the sse version
and your hardware doesnt support sse2
you should download the normal version

Hmm, you should also try the gssoft plugin, as I found a little error with gsdx9, or you could use gsdx9 0.5 instead of 0.6 (the one that came with the emulator).

SSE is a kind of tecnology that improves a little ur performance.. and SSE2 even better.. so the single SSE is not yet supported by PCSX2 0.8, only SSE2.. then, if ur CPU doesn't support SSE2, use normal version till SSE is implemented in 0.8

well if I understand what youre saying
no you don't buy a program
you just have to buy a processor that supports sse
most newer comes with that and sse2 those are pentium 4, athlon 64
amd sempron, intel celeron
also keep in mind that to buy a processor you have to make sure that youre motherboard supports it
