I am using ePSXe and it works very well but when ever I pop in my FF7 backup I can never get into the actual game it just goes on and on with the intro please help.
I have also noticed that the games that work have a visible .cnf file whenever I open the D drive it says 22 files hidden.

Try your original ff7 cd. Try making an iso. You have other games that exhibit this problem? Could you list them?

Try pressing F5, I don't remember wether FF7 supports analog...

Uggghhh...

After countless trial and error I finally got into gameplay using Epsxe V1.0 but now I am at Kalm town where cloud reveals his past and at the end the emulater always crashes and says Illegal request and something timed out on the DOS screen!
What am I to do?

Please help...
