i have a problem with the vgs
when i star the vgs apear a blue screen
that say error in vxd_linz576(01)
if anybody can tellme how to fix this problem or what is this problem that hapen in all mi vgs versions(1.4 and 1.41)

are you using smart keyboard software? if so, download the latest version of that or remove it.

if so .. tell me and i'll let u know the solutions ..

i dont actually know whats your problem but i can tell u this ..
what i did with the nero problem was removing :

c:\windows\system\iosubsys\nero95.vxd

and store it in the nero directory. but nero is unuseable. when ever i want to use nero only i copy it back to the directory. try remembering what u have installed 3 days ago and remove ir from the iosubsys directory. if u cant .. try removing one by one and see which files cause vgs not to run. remember to restart after removing the files.

i gonna try to delete all the files in the iosubsys folder...
but i have a question.....
if i delete any file of the iosubsys folder..... this is not gonna mess up my pc rigth=?
if i delete all or some of the files in the iosubsys what happen with my pc?

Never Delete any files inside your Windows Folder, unless you know what program made the file(s) and that the source of the problem.

Blue Screen known as BSOD (Blue Screen Of Death) - the General Knowledge when this BSOD appear is when:
- Processor is overheated (low end processors/old AMD K62 cant stand the heat when it calculates game emulators)
- VGA card is overheated (same as above)
- Run Out of Memory (usually from BIG memory eaters, Adobe Photoshop 6, 3DMAX Studios, 3DMARK 2001, etc)

that points above are the MOST common thing that can cause BSOD. well, except for viruses (who knows what lurks on your System?)

other ERRORS dnt cause BSOD, they only made small windows that says 'Illegal Operation ... the application ... contact your vendor...etc'

dont DELETE i repeat DONT DELETE all the files in iosubsys .. you'll ruined your computer.
what i meant was moving one by one the files in io subsys until u get VGS to run back to normal
meaning after u remove the first file in iosubsys

move the files to somwhere else then restart ...
only remove 1 file at a time then restart
if VGS doesnt work .. that means not the file problem .. so go to the 2nd file and move it somewhere else and restart ...
do the same until VGS works again and you'll know which file coz the problem

removeing or moving all the files in iosubsys causing computer to die !!! worst if u delete .. at least if u move can do SAFE MODE

but the problem can be one of the points that 404 says
mi pc is a
compaq presario. amd k6 /450 megaherts
about 5 days ago i expanded the ram of mi pc
from 64 megabytes to mmm i adeed 128 in ram, now i think i have
like
182mb or something like that
and then start all this problem
and i remember when i see the sistem info i saw
that my amd k6 is runing at 576mghz o something like that
and i don´overcloack my procesor or something like that
but i gonna try to move files and rebott like xaix says
but other solutions?

if u ruin ur computer u can always reinstall windows, but that's a lot of work, so why don't you try ePSXe for little awile?
