here's my review of the wifi japanese playstation vita. The system so far is wonderful just make sure yo updat the firmware for it otherwise you may have trouble getting the system to turn on after doing a complete shutdown. Before i updated the firmware i was hit with a somewhat comon problem where the vita will not turn on after being shut down and you have to hold the power button for 1minute while charger is plugged then unhook the charger to get it to boot again. The touch screen is very responsive and so far has not given me any problems. The oled screen is a thing to see in action and has absolutely no light leakage or dead pixels. The system can be set to whatever language you want it to be in but for those who want to play games through vit's online network be warned that only games from whatever region you set your vita to will work with those online.Setup is very simple and will guide you quite steadily, all things will be touch screen only. The memory card area for the vita is on the bottom right and you will be amazed at how small the memory cards are.Vita games will go into the top left slot and some games do require a memory card before you can playthem.I only have the japanese ultimate marvel vs capcom 32 for it and it does not require a memory card to run.You can only manage content through the content manager which must be downloaded onto your pc for you to be able to transfer files to and from your vita and pc.So far 720p mp4 files work wonderfully and are stored on my 4gig memory card.To change settings you must hold the ps button and the settings screen will show up.I have played on the battery with brightness maxed out and sound at 100% and got to around 3hours with some battery still reamining.I haven't tested full battery time with lower brightness and sound settings yet.I can only test the wifi with my work internet since i do not have high speed internet at home.Any one feel free to ask any questions about the vita and i will try and answer as much as possible.
