"The project 64 team are happy to release project64 1.6. Jabo and I are extremely busy these days but do find time now and then to work on project 64. We are both extremely happy with the stability and compatibility of project64. There have been some small issues that we wanted to fix to give the users a better experience. For example Donkey Kong 64 now runs smoothly, Zelda start menus react quickly, memory usage is now lower, Jabo has created a new direct 3d 8 version of his plug-in, and many more change, have a look at the what's new document. Smiff is still missing in action, so the rest of the test team especially gent has done an excellent job of helping pulling things together for this release. "

Its real , Check by ur self, new version many games fixed, even check emutalk/porject64's official forums and See pics, try Donkykong64 and you will see

Oh, i do know that! Its just, i got kinda fooled twice by this thread. I only looked this thread quickly and thought this was April fools thread, and didnt bother to check it more carefully, only to find that there IS a new emulator released, and therefore got fooled again! :lol:

atm, Why ngemu's portal is so slow with news/updateds...all other emu sites have posted it...but not ngemu.....

If anyone has the time, would anyone mind putting all the files of 1.6 into a .rar format? i am unable to install any programs on my computer because of admin stuff. So Thanks in advance

...oh boy, this has "April Fools" written all over it - anyone can see it a mile away...

As a rule of thumb, I never download stuff on this day and the next, just to be on the safe side.

Oh, and btw, a new version of Gens was also released...

Umm no point in waiting anymore its impossible for all these people to be on the same trick

...it would be an original idea for them to pull something like this, in a day like this, just to trick the more "paranoid" (like me). :evil:
