How can I find out in Windows what my pixel shader level is?

well it uses pixel shader 1.1

Maximum supported on 4200 is ps 1.3 but since gsdx9 uses either 1.1,1.4 or 2.0 so you have to use 1.1

I've made a program for windows to show what version of pixel shader your card supports, but I guess you don't really need it now since the good people here already replied to your question.

hey can you tell my pixel shaders too? i've got ATI Radeon 9100 . i was using pixel shader 1.4, there's no such option like 2.0 so i guess the plugin is hiding versions you can't use and you just choose the highest available? thx

AFAIK ps 1.4 is the maximum that a 9100 supports.

think thats 2.0b which is ATi's version of PS3.0 as the X700 is quite a new card
