How do I put a picture in my profile. for example the blank space to the left of this message that should have a picture.

first of all turn off the red.
second, the space to the left is not really your profile.
third the picture is called an avatar and you can set your avatar options und your profile using the user control panel.

You mean avatar???
If you have more than 15 posts, you may also specify your own custom avatar.

I still cant find where I'm supposed to set my "Avatar". Can someone tell me more specific?

Before anything ..............
You should use white font replace red font.It really hurt my eye.
OK.............
Click on user cp button --> edit options --> scroll down your bar at buttom and you will see avatar option --> change avatar

Thanks for changing the text color. As you can tell, this color can really get to you after a while
