...looks like that after the recent crash (if indeed it was a crash) of the ngemu site, all pics hosted locally and dated prior to the crash, are now gone...

What I'd like to ask, is: are they gone permanently, or are you (hopefully) in the process of restoring them, or anything like that ?

I didn't post this in the sticky thread regarding pictures, because IMO it's a different kind of problem.

Yeah, I noticed that too, I was looking at some dscaler pics and was like waaiit there used to be pics here.

NGEmu did not crashed. Bobbi upgraded the server (see the news post on the main page). At the moment some of the attachments etc havent been moved over yet.

On christmas eve, the perl interpreter on our server broke - and took lots of other stuff with it. While I'm glad now to say that this is not related to the phpBB worm spreading right now, I'll use this chance to upgrade the server OS of this machine and add some neat little features to it - such as a spam gateway for NGEmu on an outside box, which should heavily reduce the amount of mails passing through here!

The downside is that ANY forum post you make after this post has been published will be lost on the way. Furthermore, you might notice some service interruptions during the transfer. I'll keep you up to date at this place during

...I must admit that lately I "jump" straight into the forums and skip visiting NGemu's main page, so I wasn't aware of the details of the recent downtime.
