Okay, this is just plain weird, when I tried to *ANYTHING* the emu would shut down (am using 1.6 btw), I tried taking out the plugins I recently downloaded (P.e.ops. or however it's spelled), it worked and now I can do what I always do with my emu (play imaged CD's) just thought of bringing it up.

PS: Just so you know, I downloaded these plugins from it's official homepage.

Does it show any error message when crashing the emu? Are you using Windows XP?

Yes, it does show an error message, 'something something, memory could not be "written"', and yes, I'm using XP

Pretty precise  . I'd prefer the *exact* error message, would help a lot in troubleshooting. Anyway, i think i've seen that error message before, is it a Windows one or epsxe's? Can you enable the logs in epsxe (run menu-> enable logs)? If so, does it show any error message there?
