well the point is dont cheat since it doesnt work properly for the game, and there are no official cheats, only home made ones because it has been known to cause issues with the game running even on real console

try another emu, maybe it crashes less or try the cheats on a real ps1, it can make a difference... you got remember these were designed to be used on a real ps1 with real action replay hardware so it is no suprise that some codes dont work... if you cant accept it then dont play the game and move onto another game
