Hi there, when I try to run a game in the PCSX2 Emulator i get this:

1.) The Intro screen of Playstation 2
2.) The Playstation2 logo (weird :eyemove: )
3.) Nothing, and the program get's stuck?! (The console output is still going)

Anyone knows what's hapnin?

That means that the game is slowly loading (if there is a CD in the drive). Plus, it would also help if you posted more information than the screen shots. If you included plugins and settings it would also help.

Well, I tried it for 15 mins but it still didn't work.

The only plugin i'm using is the graphics plugin: GSdx9 (SSE2) 0.8

The rest is only standard.

Well, now I finally got it working so i'm now in the menu... BUt the PCSX2 doesn;t read the dsic I think.

Is there something wrong with my config:

judging by the -----'s on your console id say that youve been hit by a bug present in linuz cdvd iso where it reads the header over and over (i had it yesterday on DOA2 for some reason), there will be a plugin with 0.9 which should work better for you.

im afraid for now you will have to wait, sorry

You can burn the image and use PEOPS plugin, maybe it works...

Or you just mount it using DaemonTools and save a disc

Try this.

1 - Burn an image of that DVD

2 - mount it in a virtual DVD drive (like Nero's Imagedrive or DaemonTools).

Should give you the good results when associated with PEOPS DVD plugin's (default setting) BUT with this enabled: THREAD READ and USE ADDITIONAL 4 MB DATA CACHE. And don't forget to choose the virtual drive you mounted the image into.

Details needed:
What was your config in GxDX9 (SSE2)?
Specify your GPU
What's the name of your game? Perhaps it needs a special config or patch.

I got a question and its not that important nor is it topic related. But why is it that every game I load....the same thing happens like in picture # 2 in J3lluh's first post. It does not animate the playstation 2 sign accurately. Like I said..its not important but I want to know if there is a sloution, or if its a bug. Thanks in advance.

It is a bug, but is an old one, it was fixed long ago. In 0.9 is ok.
