Is there a way to play online? if there is do people still play Monster Hunter online on pcsx2?

Monster Hunter's online servers were taken offline, so its not possible to join them anymore.
There are still a number of servers online, so you might wish to try with those.

but theres no server in which only pcsx2 gamers can play? or when you play online it's the same server as you play from ps2?

pcsx2 joins actual sony servers, not user-hosted ones. User-hosted ones would be LAN-playable games, some of which might work. Generally, its just there werent many reports from users for how well do specific online games work, so moreso why trying yourself would be best.
